The joy of learning: hands-on fun!

On Groundhog day, the students measured their shadows with a partner. They used rulers and non-standard units.

While studying adjectives, each student created their own gingerbread house. Later, they added a writing component to describe their work.

Our classroom environment emphasizes reading and discussing books.

Along with creating an igloo and studying how people survive in cold climates, students chose an arctic animal to research. They had to draw the animal to scale.
